No, this is not going to be an X-rated post. You have a dirty mind...lol. We have seen lots in a week but I think the most beautiful scenery yet was the trip through Big Sur today. Thanks to the old gal at the tourist bureau that suggested we take the drive. We stopped for lunch part way through and then made many, many stops along the way. We drove back through the mountains and that drive was beautiful as well. This post it going to be short and sweet, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves.
This is our last night in Monterey then we'll be heading north to the Suisun City for a couple of days. We'll be stopping at the beach tomorrow morning one last time for sea glass for Kelsey. It's hard to believe our trip will soon be coming to an end.
What a view!
I wonder how they put those poles in
Yes, the water is that blue
There are not very many sandy beaches in Big Sur and the ones there are inaccessible
It's a little foggy
A bus stop in the middle of no where
The view from our cliff side restaurant
We ate at this restaurant. It was 808 feet above sea level and sits on the edge of a cliff
The road had twists and turns all the way through
What a machine
Hundreds of elephant seals sunning themselves
Look at the size of the the guy in the middle
Para sailing
Huh?
The California poppy grows wild everywhere
The Hearst Castle
This was on the return trip
A very large oil field
Vineyards everywhere
